Barcoding Integration
We have extensive experience integrating barcoding functionality into our software.
Example solutions include a system integrated into a warehousing company where the items coming in were scanned and the information uploaded to the main system using a portable barcode terminal. When the items were then to be despatched to their customers, the items were scanned off the shelf to make sure that they were the correct items for that particular shipment.
Another example includes integrating the software into an auction software system. Buyers would turn up at an auction with a pre-supplied credit card which contained a barcode. The barcode would be scanned as they entered and this would tell the system that the buyer was attending the sale (useful to know who is turning up to particular types of sale for marketing purposes).
